The Floyd Center for the Arts is pleased to open an invitational call to ceramics and glass artists for a regional exhibition. Floyd, VA has a rich history of talented artists, especially those who explore glass and clay. This group exhibition aims to honor and highlight the beauty that comes from these media, as well as the talented artists in our region who contribute to this canon. All accepted works will be shown in our main gallery space Saturday, April 9 to Saturday, June 4.

The geographical limits of the region will be a 3 hour driving distance from Floyd, Va.

Due to physical space limitations, the overseeing committee reserves the right to deny certain works based on number submitted by the artist, media other than clay or glass, and size limitations.

There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd awards, as well as a “People’s Choice” award.

If you wish to become a member of The Floyd Center for Arts, please visit our website and pay for your membership before submitting your application at www.FloydArtCenter.org or by phone at (540)745-2784.

Artists may apply to this opportunity beginning February 1, 2022, with a deadline to apply by March 10, 2022.

Any questions may be submitted via email to programming@floydartcenter.org or by phone.

Visit www.callforentry.org to submit your images or by visiting our website. A total of FIVE (5) works of art may be submitted per artist. Submitted digital images should represent the skill level and unique voice of each artist’s work, with all submitted works available to be shown at this exhibition. Not all submissions may be accepted into the exhibition. Video entries cannot be accepted. Review and acceptance of the artist field will be performed by the Center’s Gallery Committee.
