DESCRIPTION OF EVENT

DEADLINE EXTENTED 6/14/22

Tieton Arts & Humanities announces their 13th annual international juried exhibition. 10x10x10xTieton invites artists to create artwork no larger than 10 inches in any dimension.

10x10x10xTieton features about 200 artists from around the world. With no media restrictions, the exhibition has a broad range of pieces on display, from sculpture to painting, sound collage, book arts, photography and everything in between. All works are printed in a handbound exhibition catalog made in Tieton at Paper Hammer Studios. Every exhibited artist receives a free catalogue and additional copies are available for sale during the exhibition.

Application Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

ENTRY FEE

$30 for two submissions, $14 each additional submission. No detailed images of the same artwork. Submit only one JPEG per artwork (high resolution image). These images will be used to create the print catalog.

Your entry fee helps to support access to cultural opportunities that are not generally available in small communities with limited resources. Money raised through this call will go towards supporting free children’s art programs, and continued free public gallery access.

MEDIA

All media welcome. Works must be of original design and personal execution and made within the previous three years. Entries must arrive ready to hang.

SIZE

No piece may be larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10 inches, in any dimension, INCLUDING THE FRAME. Each accepted entry must be installation-ready, framed or encased, with appropriate hanging hardware and installation instructions, and clearly labeled with the artist's name and title of the work. Most sculptures will be wall placed on shelves, although some will be displayed on plinths. Test your framing/presentation before sending it. At this size, the presentation of your work is as important as the object, and deserves extra care and consideration.

CATALOGUE

Each accepted entry will be featured in a fully illustrated, handbound, hardcover catalogue of the exhibit. Each accepted artist will receive one free copy of the catalogue.
