Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the “Sunrise / Sunset” exhibit to be held at the R Gallery in Boulder, Colorado. In this exhibit, we are seeking artwork in all styles and mediums that depict or are inspired by sunrises and sunsets.

The show will run June 1 through July 10, 2022. The deadline for submission is May 8, 2022.  

Artwork submitted for the “Sunrise / Sunset” exhibit should focus on pieces that include or are inspired by sunsets and sunrises. We will be looking for those iconic end of day and beginning of day colors. The exhibit will attempt to have a mixture of realistic and abstract works.

R Gallery is a fine art gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado. We focus on Colorado artists working in all styles in all mediums. Join us for our next exhibition.

Size: It is best to submit pieces less than 30" wide, including frame or case. We only have a few spots for pieces up to 48" wide.

Shipping: Accepted works must arrive no later than May 29. Work will be returned by July 20, 2022 unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending the work by carrier.

Sales: All sales will be handled through R Gallery. A 50% commission will be charged unless otherwise stated in proceeding agreements. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition. R Gallery will send checks to the artist for the sale of their work by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs.
