About MOA and Sculpture on the Green
The Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) has placed sculpture in public places for over 40 years and is the preeminent outdoor sculpture museum in the Rocky Mountain region. Sculpture on the Green is a rotating exhibition of sculpture that occurs every one to three years. In this, its third iteration, MOA is seeking high quality contemporary sculpture to highlight the amazing talent that we have in Colorado sculptors. Sculptures are placed around Fiddler’s Green Circle within the Greenwood Plaza business district near MOA’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, CO. The district buzzes with foot traffic from area office tenants, residents, light rail users and with patrons attending concerts at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre.

Selection
The exhibition will be curated by MOA President & Executive Director, Cynthia Madden Leitner.

Application Requirements

Entries
Artists may enter up to two already existing sculptures for consideration. Sculptures should not exceed 4,000 pounds or 25 feet in height and must otherwise adhere to dimensions of existing pedestals noted in the site details in order to be properly and safely installed. Artworks must be able to be safely attached to existing concrete pads and should not pose any safety risk to the public. Artwork must be able to withstand exposure to the elements and be maintenance free for the duration of the exhibition. Only one sculpture per artist will be displayed, as we cannot accommodate multiple sculptures by a single artist in this group exhibition. Sculptures will be on display for approximately one year and installation will occur in June 2022.

Sculptures may be sold during the exhibition, but must remain on display for the full duration of the exhibition.
