FACES OF HUMANITY. International Call.

Rise With Art gallery has collaborated with World Cultures on View nonprofit organization to invite you to enter this Call for Entry. 

Our Planet is so beautiful, diverse, and vibrant. We would like to see portraits that will represent different cultures and ethnicities. Show us how you see the world and how you perceive humanity. We’re very excited to see all of your work!

CALL DETAILS: Open to artists from around the globe working in the photographic medium. All entries must be for sale. You might enter up to 5 photographs, color or B&W. We will select 50 images to be exhibited at the Gallery ‘Maker on Los Angeles street’ in DownTown Los Angles, CA, USA, with an opening reception on July 8th and running for a month until August 5th, 2022.

APPLYING: Please include a short caption for each photograph submitted, Your name, and your location.

GALLERY: Both Rise With Art and World Cultures on View are created to provide space for the artist to promote and exhibit their work and organize and participate in many humanitarian projects globally, including fundraisers and working with the refugees.

Besides the actual Gallery show, the selected works will be featured on our websites and social media accounts.

KEY DATES AND FEES

• Registration Fee: $25
• Maximum Number of Images:  5
• $5 for every additional image.
• June 5th, 2022 - Deadline for submission to CaFE. The call ends at 11:59 pm Mountain Time, USA (SMT)
• June 6th - 13th, 2022  - Judging of Images
• June 14th - Email notification of images accepted into the show, with the information provided on how and where to send the full-size images, print-ready.
• June 20nd - Deadline for the selected images to be submitted for printing. Tiff format at 300dpi, sized according to the artist's choice of size, but not larger than 24in on the longest side, along with the caption, short bio, and the price for the work selected.
• June 27th - Due date for maximum 100-word Biography of the selected photographers

$25 for 1 image entry. $5 for every additional image entered, up to 5.

Application Requirements

ENTRY RULES 

This exhibition is open to digital photographic images entries only.

• Do not Watermark
• Images must be submitted through CaFE in JPG or jpeg file format, sRGB colorspace, minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side and a maximum of 1920 pixels on the longest side, and no larger than 5MB.
• Include a short caption with each image submitted
• Proved the link to your website or social media account, if any
• To ensure the anonymity of entries during the judging process, no identifying information, including any copyright information, may appear on the image.

Eligibility Criteria

ELIGIBILITY
         All lens-based media are eligible, including but not limited to images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, or a digital camera. Work must be of high quality with large files available upon notice of acceptance, which will be printed by the Gallery on archival photo paper.
