It is the mission of the Trinity Art Festival to encourage artists to create visual art providing a unique perspective on the Christian view and experience in contemporary life. The art is intended to promote reflection and discussion. This year's theme from Genesis 1:27 is “God created mankind in his own image…male and female he created them."  Accepted applicants will have their work exhibited at Sparrow Gallery in Sacramento, CA, from Oct. 8 - Nov. 4, 2022.

PRIZES: Total Cash Awards - $5,000: First place - $3,000; Second place - $1,500 Honorable Mention $500

Application Requirements

ACCEPTED MEDIA: 2D and 3D art work.

SIZE RESTRICTIONS:  Please submit 2D work no larger than 40” x 40” and 3D work no taller than 7’.

INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS: Art work selected for display must be ready to be hung. Work under glass requires rigid frames. Saw tooth hangers cannot be utilized.

ENTRY FEES: $45 for 3 entries. $5 each additional entry. Limit of 6 entries per artist.

DELIVERY: Accepted work must be shipped or otherwise delivered to Sacramento Wed. Sept. 28 through Fri., Sept. 30th, 2022 by 4 pm PST. Deliveries and/or shipments will be accepted between 11 am to 4 pm on those dates. All work MUST be received by Friday Sept. 30th for inclusion in the exhibition.

SALES: Artists receive 60% on the sale of their work.

SHIPPING: Artists are responsible for all shipping costs. Please include a return shipping label.

RETURN: Unsold artwork that is not being shipped must be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 between 11 am and 4 pm

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for entering the show:

• Open to all artists residing in the U.S.

• Original art work produced in the last two years depicting subject matter related to the theme of the show.

• Work cannot have been previously exhibited in Sacramento within the last two years.

• All work must be for sale and priced at $5,000 or less
