ABOUT SPB International:
The Southern Printmaking Biennale was established by Michael Marling de Cuellar in 2002 with the fundamental mission of providing the University of North Georgia students with dynamic educational stimuli and providing professional exhibition opportunities for serious artists working in the field of printmaking. This is the tenth exhibit and will conclude the Southern Printmaking Biennale International in 2022. A retrospective exhibition of all the award winners of the previous twenty years will be exhibited in the Fall of 2024.

JUROR: Will Kurunc Born in Fredericksburg Virginia, William Kurucz spent his childhood years in the Chesapeake area exploring the outdoors, playing sports and doodling his way through school. In 2011 after graduating from high school, William headed south to East Carolina University where he would meet Michael Ehlbeck, and begin to study the art of Printmaking. He would graduate with his BFA in printmaking in 2015. He then went on to spend the next few years traveling, spending time working in Chicago, and Alaska, and taking trips through Cuba, and Guatemala. In August of 2017 William settled in Dekalb, Illinois where he recived his MFA in printmaking under Michael Barnes. William is currently residing in Chicago, IL.
Application Requirements
This exhibition is open to all artist, 18 years and older, working in any traditional or non-traditional hand pulled printmaking media.

ELIGIBILITY:
All fine art printmaking techniques, 2D or 3D, and mediums including woodcut, relief, intaglio, lithography, screen-print, monotype, collagraph, book arts and original digital media may be utilized. All prints must be hand-pulled and generated using at least one traditional method. This exhibition is open to all artist, 18 years and older, working in any traditional or non-traditional hand pulled printmaking media.
