Lucid Influences: Chasing Dreamscapes. In lucid dreams the primary self "wakes up" bringing with it "memories, knowledge of facts and trains of reason." As artists we can put these things onto canvas using a medium and this is what true artistry encompasses, a dual consciousness. In this exhibition artists will explore lucid dreams and what this means to them as artists.
Application Requirements
Artists can submit 1 - 3 pieces of work for the $35 submission fee. 2 D abstract work, no sculptures, or multi-dimensional wall art.
Size requirements - minimum 24"x24" (61cmx61cm)
maximum 36"x36" (91cmX91cm)
All work must include D-rings and be ready to hang.
1.5" (4cm) thick or greater gallery wrapped canvases do not need frames but must have clean painted edges. Any artworks thinner than 1.5" (4cm) must be framed. No glass please.
No entries will be accepted after the entry deadline.
Eligibility Criteria
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
The exhibition is open to all national and international artists.
A participation fee of $200 will be required for all selected artists. Selected artists will hang in a professional gallery in the heart of the Dallas Design District, be featured on gallery social media pages, have exposure to the galleries list of patrons and collectors and included on the gallery website for the duration of the exhibition.
The gallery will charge a 35% commission on all sales.
