Open to all forms of photography and digital art (Purely traditional artwork is NOT permitted for this show, view more details below)

Exhibition Dates: August 20th - September 18th
This show will be taking place online and will not be displayed physically in the gallery.
NOTE: We do not have any Form Questions, that section of the application can be skipped. You may ignore it and move on to choosing work samples.
Work must have been completed within the last 10 years.
Work may not be copied from copywritten material.
No work partially or wholly created by another.
Work may have been done in a class or workshop, but only using reference material belonging to the sole artist.
Work must be the size represented in the submission form (You can approximate the size for digital work)
Work may be listed as NFS (not for sale) by putting the number 0 in the price section of the painting or by contacting the gallery at riwsgallery@gmail.com. Only originals or limited edition prints may be sold through the gallery, all other work should be listed as NFS.
Artwork should be well represented by any digital image submitted. Please avoid submitting blurry or low-resolution images.
There is no size limit for this show.
The Rhode Island Watercolor Society is proud to support watercolor and other materials and methods. With the growth of the arts industry comes the introduction of new equipment and practices. As the options for art making expand, so must the horizons of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society guidelines for our open juried shows. We are proud to be hosting a photography and digital art show for the first time!
Media and Mediums
Acceptable mediums: Any photography or digital media is acceptable (view unacceptable media below). These include but are not necessarily limited to: Digital photography, analog/film photography, digital painting, photo manipulation, photo painting, digital collage, photo collage, fractal art, pixel art, 2D graphics, and 3D digital renders/paintings (represented with 2D images). Unacceptable media: Traditional art (watercolor, oil, acrylic, egg tempera, gouache, etc. that has not been digitally altered to create a distinct digital artwork).
Acceptable Surfaces: If your work is listed for sale it must be either a limited edition print or an original. Any surface is acceptable for such pieces.
Framing and Presentation: Framing is not necessary for this show as it is online only. If pieces are framed, please reflect that when pricing your work.
Shipping: Please do not ship pieces for this show, as pieces will be displayed online in a digital format only.
Submission Fee: $15 for non-members, $10 for members. Checks may be made out to "Rhode Island Watercolor Society".

Sales: If an original or limited edition print is sold, RIWS will receive 35% of the sale. Links to the artist's website will be listed next to each accepted piece during the show where artists may have their own virtual shop as well. RIWS does NOT ask for a percentage of sales on 3rd party websites.
Work that has not been suitably digitally submitted will be displayed at the discretion of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society. Please submit only work that will be available at the time of the exhibition and will remain for its entirety if listed for sale. No accepted entry may be withdrawn prior to the close of the exhibition. Prices for artwork indicated at the time of submission may not be re-negotiated at a later date. Submitted pieces may be used as promotional material by RIWS. Information on work(s) (including title and price) may not be changed after submission. If the work is sold, the Rhode Island Watercolor Society will receive 35% of the sale.
