NINE dot ARTS is seeking qualified Artists for several future art locations on the campus of a new senior living project located in Lone Tree, CO. The name of the project is The Reserve at Lone Tree. It will consist of independent living, assisted living, and memory care units. The project management team at Experience Senior Living is interested in making purchases for the permanent art collection at The Reserve. The art can be an existing artwork or a new commission. The artwork will be installed in Summer of 2024.

Project Budget

Budget varies by art location. The budget range is $15,000 - $55,000 total per art location.

Total budget includes artist fees, materials, fabrication, delivery & installation, and contingency.

NINE dot ARTS will coordinate the art process from the initial stages through installation. The general contractor will help provide finish landscaping, concrete footings and lighting as needed. The artist will be responsible for engineering stamps for large sculptures.

Selection Criteria

Finalists will be awarded design stipends to create site specific proposals (unless an existing artwork is selected). These finalists will be selected based on the strength of their previous work and fit for the project criteria. If the applicant does not have a history of past public art commissions, they will need to write a letter about why they are qualified to do this project.

Applicants will be reviewed and ranked on the following:

  • Quality of concept, design, and craftsmanship of past works
  • Creativity of Approach
  • Visual and technical sophistication
  • Fit with project goals and values

July 22nd, 2022 - Deadline to submit

August 8th, 2022 - Finalists announced and awarded design stipends for project concept designs (for new commissions)

August 28th, 2022 - Finalists project concept designs due

September 2022 - Commissions awarded

Summer 2024 - Project installation
