The Arts Council of Wayne County is pleased to announce a Call for Entry for the 43rd Annual National Juried Art Show in Goldsboro, North Carolina. This juried exhibition with cash prizes will be shown in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center at Wayne Community College November 11-23, 2022.

Prizes are provided by our loyal sponsors. The Juror will award the cash prizes based solely on merit regardless of media. Honorable mentions will be awarded at the juror’s discretion.

Juror information: 

Jacob Z. Wan is a contemporary bookbinder who creates mixed-media conceptual books to celebrate the importance of oneself. His books have been collected internationally and exhibited in Germany, China, the Florida Biennial, and the International Book Art Exhibition in New York. Wan has received his BFA and MFA from the University of Central Florida, and currently resides in Jacksonville, FL.

Application Requirements

Entries will be judged digitally through callforentry.org. 

Entry fee is $40 (non-refundable) for up to 4 works. Acceptance is not guaranteed. 

All art must remain for the duration of the exhibition.

Work must be for sale. The ACWC will retain 35% commission on purchases. 

Eligibility Criteria

This call is open to all artists 18 years and older. 

Acceptable media include drawings, paintings, graphics, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, mixed media and photography. No slides.
