Entry submission is through CaFÉ only and the agreement is with the applicant and the Fountain Hills Public Art Committee (PAC), a committee of the Fountain Hills Cultural & Civic Association, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit.

The Artist represents and warrants to the PAC and to CaFÉ that he / she is the creator of the original artwork submitted for an exhibition or other event, is the sole owner of all rights (including rights granted to the PAC for promotional purposes), and has not infringed on any copyright and / or other rights. 

Only completed applications with fees paid will be considered. All fees are non-refundable, whether or not the work is accepted and/or presented for exhibition. There will be no exceptions to deadlines, specs or rules.

Show only the image, no frame or mat or wall. The image must be correctly horizontally oriented to 4’ x 8’. PLEASE USE CAFE.COM PHOTO SPECS FOR UPLOADING OUR PHOTOS. Finalist will be contacted and high-resolution images 7200 x 14400 pixel will be required to be sent directly to the Fountain Hills Public Art Committee. 

All submittals must have a written paragraph describing the inspiration and explanation of the piece.

No digital watermark may be shown in the image.

Chosen artist will receive a $200 honorarium.

All panels will be priced at $1000. If an inquiry has been made for the purchase of a panel, a 50% commission will be paid to the artist. At the end of the exhibition date, all panels not sold will be recycled or repurposed at the PAC discretion.

If the artist chooses to sell their original artwork, the sale price provided during the application process may not be subsequently changed. The Public Art Committee will list all details on the website but will not act as an agent for the sale of the art. Any agreement for the sale of the art will be between the buyer and the artist.

The Artist (which in this Agreement also includes Photographer) is at least 18 years old, is currently a United States resident, and has full powers to enter into this Agreement. 

Artists retain all copyright to the submitted art but grants the PAC rights to use selected images of art (and data such as the Artist's name) for publicity / marketing (print and electronic) and for archival purposes, including use on the PAC’s website and on social media and for promotional and related activities.
