The Tointon Gallery is accepting proposals for visual artists to exhibit in the 2023 and 2024 show seasons. Interested artists, curators and artist groups should submit proposals that include a letter of intent, with a brief proposal of the work to be exhibited and 6-10 images of works in the proposal or relevant past work.
The gallery encourages diverse and historically under-represented artist applicants, as well as work that challenges and expands the public's concept of what art is or can be. All media in 2D, 3D and Installation are welcome.
The Tointon Gallery features up to 12 exhibits annually. Exhibits are typically scheduled to run between 4-6 weeks with a one week window for installation. The gallery features 140 linear feet of wall space, high ceilings, LED track lights, with wall and floor outlets to accommodate installations or projection.
As the only city-run gallery in Greeley, the facility provides visitors with opportunities to experience the visual arts and enjoy educational and thought-provoking discussions. The Gallery is attached to the Union Colony Civic Center and is viewed by thousands of culture-seeking patrons attending concerts, plays and performances.
