Roswell Arts Fund, in partnership with the City of Roswell invites artists and teams to submit portfolios for consideration for an exciting photography and poetry exhibition. The Roswell in Print exhibit is designed to highlight the diverse characteristics of the City of Roswell, using storytellers to capture it through beautiful, compelling imagery and words displayed in non-traditional spaces.


We invite works that represent the unexpected, the discovery, and the growth and progress of our world, to submit their portfolios (up to 10 images) for consideration!


This invitation is extended to all qualified artists with no entry fee. 

Artists will receive a $150 for each image/poem exhibited as part of Roswell in Print (a maximum of 5 images will be selected per participant).


All emerging and professional artists are invited to submit and there is no entry fee for this call. Submissions will be classified by age, with works from youth (17 and under) exhibited alongside adult works (18 and over).

Application Requirements

  1. Artist/Team Info: full name, address, email & phone number, including any professional websites.
  2. Artist Statement: A description of your work and how you approach photography and/or poetry. 500 words max.
  3. Artwork & Details
    • Each artist may submit a maximum of TEN (10) images or poems for consideration.
    • Image List that corresponds to each image or poem included. Include details of each artwork, at minimum:
      • Title
      • Material types used in photograph where applicable
      • Description of the work

This information is collected anonymously and helps us report to our grantors as well as develop future programs to serve the Roswell communities.
 

If applying as an artist team, please designate one team member as the primary contact and provide complete contact information for that person.

Eligibility Criteria

  • This call is open to all photographers, poets, and teams. Applicants may be under 18 if a parent or legal guardian will execute contract on their behalf.
  • Applicants may submit up to ten images (10) and/or poems for consideration. All work shown must be appropriate for all ages. All work must have title, description, and price (if applicable).
  • If selected, artists are responsible for supplying Roswell Arts Fund with High-Resolution digital images or font files if relevant to the poetry.
