The Gallery of Fine Arts at Fontbonne University is curating a show titled “Spiritual Visions,” which will be open to the public January 27th – Feb 25th, 2023. This is an open call for entry for artists of all media. Artists are encouraged to submit works that are inspired by their own religious beliefs or inner spirit. As part of our centennial celebration this year, Fontbonne University is honored to have on campus the 6th volume of The Saint John’s Bible, the first handwritten, hand-illuminated Bible in over 500 years. The Saint John’s Bible illuminated manuscripts were created by a diverse group of artists, using imagery and styles intended to welcome all to the stories in the text.  “Spiritual Visions” is an exhibition that celebrates the diversity of all religious beliefs. There is no fee to apply to this juried show. A maximum of 40 pieces will be included in this exhibition. Final Date for applying is Jan.1st. Acceptance notification date is Jan. 5th.
