Here's your chance to show your small-scale assemblage in a San Francisco gallery! 

Transmission Gallery San Francisco invites submission of small-scale assemblage or found object sculpture and/or wall mounted assemblage artworks. 3D artwork may not exceed 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high. Wall pieces may not exceed 7 inches high x 7 inches wide Please note, accepted work must be sent by UPS or hand delivered to the Gallery. 

Entires and Fees: One entry is $35, submit up to 4 images, either 4 separate pieces, or one or more pieces with detail shots. If submitting detail shots, please label them as such. Payment is made through CaFÉ via credit card.  Fees are non-refundable.  There is no guarantee of acceptance into the exhibit.

Delivery of Artwork: 

By UPS: Must arrive by Tuesday Jan 3rd to a separate mailing address. Must be shipped with a prepaid return shipping label. Mailing address and shipping instructions provided upon acceptance.

In person delivery to gallery: Tuesday, January 3rd or Wednesday, January 4th, 11am - 3pm

Show Dates: January 6 – February 11, 2023 Opening Reception: Sunday, January 8, 2023, 2-5pm 

Artwork Pickup: Monday, February 12, or Tuesday, February 13, 11am to 3 pm

Application Requirements

Work must be original to the submitting artist, ready to display, and must include found objects/found materials. 

3D artwork may not exceed 7 inches wide x 7 inches deep x 8 inches high. Wall pieces may not exceed 7 inches high x 7 inches wide and must be securely wired and properly prepared for display.

Delivery of Artwork: 

By UPS: Must arrive by Tuesday Jan 3rd to a separate mailing address. Must be shipped with a prepaid return shipping label. Mailing address and shipping instructions provided upon acceptance. 

In person delivery to the gallery: Tuesday, January 3rd or Wednesday, January 4th, 11am - 3pm

Artwork pickup/return: At end of exhibition, unsold work that was delivered in person must be picked up from the Gallery on Monday, February 12th, or Tuesday, February 13, 11 am to 3 pm. Work sent by UPS with a prepaid return label will be shipped back within two weeks.

Accepted artwork must be for sale at the price listed in the submission. Transmission Gallery will retain a 50% commission of sold artwork. Artist's Commissions will be paid 30 days after the close of show.

Eligibility Criteria

Pint Size is open to artists nationwide. Please note, accepted work must be sent by UPS (with prepaid return label) or hand delivered to the Gallery. Submit your entry at callforentry.org by Thursday, December 17th, 11pm, Pacific Time.
