In honor of the National Western Stock Show, Memento Mori Gallery is highlighting western and western-adjacent themed art for the month of January. Western-adjacent means Cowboy & Native American themed art done in contemporary and new ways. And at Memento Mori Gallery, we always love art with a nod toward the macabre.  

Memento Mori Gallery is located in the 40West Arts District, part of the art walk circuit. We get good foot traffic on First Fridays. First Friday reception will include music, refreshments, and some fantastic cowboy boots. 

Also included with entry into show is free admission to our January edition of First Sunday Figure Drawing, which will taking place January 8, 2023. We do three rounds of timed sketches between 1-30 minutes. Come sharpen your figure drawing skills with us!

Application Requirements

Please submit Cowboy and Native American themed art done in contemporary & new ways. 2D and 3D art welcome. No larger than 6x6 feet. Ready to hang or display. $20 entry fee per piece, can submit up to 3 pieces (submit separate cafe entries for each piece). Artwork must be for sale, with 40% of sale going to gallery. Out of state entries are welcome; must be able to ship work to us by drop-off date & we will send it back after the close of show. 

This is a non-juried show.
