Submissions are now open for Artlink Contemporary Gallery's 43rd National Print Exhibition! 

This juried exhibition will feature contemporary printmakers working in all printmaking mediums, including intaglio, lithographs, relief, screenprints, monoprints, letterpress, artist books, and print installations. Prints must have been created within the last four years and not have been previously exhibited at Artlink. Reproduction prints will not be accepted.  All artists, at least 18 years of age, residing in the United States are eligible. 

Awards
Three cash awards ($500, $200, $100) will be selected by this year's juror, Marianetta Porter.

About the Juror

Marianetta Porter has worked as a product designer for Armstrong World Industries, Inc. and for Ford Motor Company. She served on the faculties of the School of Design at North Carolina State University and University of Michigan’s Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design. Awarded the UM Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award, Porter was granted Professor Emeritus status in 2021.

Porter is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Smithsonian Senior Research Fellowship Award, the Smithsonian Laureate Award, and Rockwood National Fellowship Award. She has served as a visiting artist at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, the Art Institute of Chicago’s Ox-Bow Program and East Carolina University. Her work has been exhibited widely including in Bremen, Germany and Beijing, China, as well as at the California African American Museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, Charleston’s Spoleto Festival, the Harriet Tubman Museum, the Charles H. Wright Museum, and the Hampton University Museum of Art.

IF ACCEPTED:

Presentation
All works must be ready for installation upon delivery and professionally presented. Any works not presented professionally may not be accepted for exhibition. Traditional framed artwork must be ready to hang with wire. No saw-tooth hangers. If your work requires special installation instructions, please contact ellen@artlinkfw.org prior to the submission deadline. Identification labels with artist name and title should be attached to the back of the work.

Sales
All artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales fee. Artists will be mailed a check for sold work following the close of the exhibition. 

Liability
Artwork will be insured during exhibition at Artlink. Artlink is not liable for damage or loss in transit to the gallery. Any damage caused by improper preparations by the artist will not be covered by Artlink. 

Hand-Delivery
Hand-delivered artwork is accepted during gallery hours, Thursday 10am - 8pm, Friday/Saturday 10am - 6pm, and Sunday 12 - 5pm.

Shipping
Artwork that is shipped must be sent through UPS or FedEx and must include a return shipping label. Artwork must arrive at Artlink by March 12, 2023. Shipped work must be framed with plexiglass, no glass permitted. Any damages that occur during shipping must be covered by the artist. In such an occurrence, the Gallery Coordinator will contact the artist for a credit card number to facilitate repairs. Please, no crates or Styrofoam peanuts.
