For this exhibition Las Laguna Art Gallery invites artists creating any type of Digital Art.
Digital art can be digital photography, algorithmic art, dynamic painting, 2D computer graphics, pixel art, photo painting, digital collage, digital painting, manual vector drawing or raster painting. Artists may use software programs like Photoshop, Procreate, Corel Painter, GIMP, Artweaver 7, Ai Art, or any other digital tools to manipulate images to create paintings, drawings or pictures.
All local, national and international artists, professional and amateur and multiple art mediums will be considered in this call for art.
Note: All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on our website and to our client list. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at our brick and mortar gallery in Laguna Beach, California.
ENTRY FEES (Non-refundable Application Fees): First image for $31; each additional image is $2. A maximum of twenty images may be submitted for consideration. 1. Las Laguna Art Gallery will exhibit the artwork/s in an exhibition at LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY, located in Laguna Beach, California, or online on our gallery website. 2. The artwork(s) exhibited and/or represented by LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY, pursuant to this Agreement, are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “ARTWORK” and refers to those artworks submitted by ARTIST to LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY and accepted by LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY for exhibition. 3. In exchange for LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY’S exhibition of ARTIST’S Work, ARTIST grants LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY the right to represent ARTIST in the sale of the “ARTWORK” by LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY. 4. COMMISSION: The following commission/payment terms will apply to each subject “ARTWORK” sold by LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY: 65% (payment to ARTIST), 35% (commission to LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY). 5. LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY shall pay the Artist all proceeds due to the Artist within thirty-one (31) days of sale. 6. ARTISTS outside the United States are responsible for any exchange rate charges or bank transfer charges. Please price works accordingly. 7. ARTIST retains ownership of all “ARTWORK” represented by LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY until such “ARTWORK” is sold, pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, or otherwise. ARTIST retains copyright to all consigned artwork in perpetuity, as governed by law. LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY shall take the steps necessary to ensure that the Artist's notice of copyright is protected and included in all documentation. 8. The retail sales price for each “ARTWORK” will be established by the ARTIST. ARTIST is to include gallery commission in the price listed. Please do not change prices without speaking to Lori directly. Consider your price carefully as it is difficult for us to change it – choose your price thoughtfully. 9. LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY will exert all reasonable efforts to close sales of represented “ARTWORK”. ARTIST agrees to provide LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY, in a timely fashion and upon request, with any necessary documents or information in support of sales. 10. PROMOTION: All entrants grant Las Laguna Gallery the right to use or publish images of their work to promote the art exhibits, future calls for entries, videos, or the art gallery. Selected entries may be included in our online gallery, on our Facebook page, Instagram, Google+ page, ArtSlant Page, FLKR, blog, or other social media sites for the purpose of promoting artists and shows. Artist understands that his/her artwork may be photographed for promotional or other purposes. 11. MODIFICATIONS: All modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by BOTH parties. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between LAS LAGUNA ART GALLERY and ARTIST. 12. Las Laguna Art Gallery is not responsible for any damage, breakage, need for replacement, or cost associated with any event that may have occurred during transport or unpacking. Every precaution will be taken in handling the entries, but Las Laguna Art Gallery assumes no liability for any loss or damage to any artist’s work while in our care, custody, or control, before, during, or after the exhibition. Each artist, if they wish, needs to provide their own insurance. PLEASE PACK TO ASSURE YOUR PIECE IS PROTECTED - LLAG IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGE THAT OCCURS DURING SHIPPING TO THE GALLERY OR RETURNS BACK TO THE ARTIST!!! 13. SHIPPING YOUR WORK: If works are accepted for the brick and mortar show you will be notified. All artists will have at least one work accepted to the online show. 14. Any work left at Las Laguna Art Gallery 7 days after the close of the exhibition will be subject to a $5.00 per day storage fee. Any work left at Las Laguna Art Gallery for more than 14 days is subject to sale or disposal without notification or recourse. Please be aware of when the show finishes and make sure we have your return label.
