Inaugural Art Exhibition & Sale: fresh work from 40 new & Established SE Wisconsin Artists

Dominion Properties is passionate about art. Their Hotel Verdant in Racine, WI, will house 200 pieces of original local art when it opens in the summer of 2023. The selection of these pieces was a collaboration between Dominion Properties, Racine Art Museum, and ArtRoot. As the sponsor of “Shorewood Hub presents FRESH 40,” Dominion Properties invites both new and established artists in SE Wisconsin to submit abstract and representational art (of different genres) for this inaugural art exhibition and sale, which is intended to be an annual event. The exhibition will showcase forty (40) artists, each displaying five (5) original works of art. There will be up to twelve (12) purchase awards; the art purchased through these awards will be placed in the Shorewood Hub at 3970 North Oakland Avenue, Shorewood, WI. In addition, Dominion Properties hopes to discover artists and artwork for a major project they anticipate will be built near Shorewood Hub. Artists will receive 60% of the retail sale price and 40% will benefit Shorewood SEED Foundation, Rotary Club of Milwaukee, or be used to defer coordination and setup expenses.
