Paper Made Call for Entry, March 1 through March 31, 2023. This juried exhibition will appear in the summer issue of Fiber Art Now, to be released in early July 2023. Artists are invited to enter 2D and 3D innovative artwork of original design that must be made primarily of paper or a paper product or created using a paper-making process. Photography is not eligible unless it is a portion of the overall artwork.

Notifications will be emailed on or before April 24. Juried selections will include only one artwork per artist. Prizes will be awarded for 1st $300, 2nd $250, and 3rd $200 selections.

Entry fee: $30 for up to three entries. Fiber Art Now subscribers: $20 with the discount code. Use the discount code at check out. A discounted entry fee is available to Fiber Art Now subscribers and the discount code will be emailed to subscribers prior to March 1. Paper Made will be juried by the Fiber Art Now creative team. We are fortunate that our Fiber Art Now creative team all have university degrees in the arts. These accomplished artists are the jurors for Paper Made:

Artists who enter more than one artwork will receive two different notifications, one for the invited work, and another for the work(s) that were not invited.

Entries close at midnight Mountain Time Zone, USA. CaFE does not let you go back into your application to make changes or corrections. Review your entry before checking out.

Application Requirements

You will need to enter the information for each piece separately, starting with the title of the piece. List each piece separately in the same space required for artist statement, materials, techniques, photographer, etc., beginning with the title of the artwork. For example, if you are entering three separate works, for the Artist's Statement, you will have the TITLE of the first piece followed by the artist statement for that piece, next the TITLE of the second piece followed by its artist statement, then the TITLE of the third piece followed by its artist statement, all in one space.

The same format works for every space.

For materials, etc. you will list the TITLE of the first piece followed by the materials, next the TITLE of the second piece followed by its materials, then the TITLE of the third piece followed by its materials. All of that information is entered into the same space for materials.

List dimensions as Height x Width x Depth. There are no size restrictions for the print exhibition in Fiber Art Now. Any Paper Made onsite exhibitions may have size restrictions.

Eligibility Criteria

International Fiber Art Now subscribers are eligible to enter Excellence In Fibers.  International non-subscribers are also eligible to enter. Non-English speakers will need to have their entry translated before applying through CaFE.
