We are excited to invite Colorado artists to submit their work for an upcoming exhibit titled "Abstract: Colors + Form." This exhibit is an opportunity to showcase abstract art that explores the possibilities of color and form.

We welcome submissions from artists working in any medium, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more. All works must be abstract in style, but should focus on the use of color and interesting forms.

The exhibit will be held at R Gallery + Wine Bar from July 19th to Sept 10th, 2023. Selected artists will have their work featured in the gallery and will be invited to attend the opening reception.

R Gallery is a fine art gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado. We focus on Colorado artists working in all styles in all mediums. Join us for our next exhibition.

Size: It is best to submit pieces less than 36" wide, including frame or case. We only have a few spots for pieces up to 48" wide.

Shipping: Accepted works must arrive no later than July 16. Work will be returned within 2 weeks of the end of exhibit unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending the work by carrier.

Sales: All sales will be handled through R Gallery. A 50% commission will be charged unless otherwise stated in proceeding agreements. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition. R Gallery will send checks to the artist for the sale of their work by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs.

Representation: R Gallery requires a 6 month exclusivity clause for all excepted artworks. Any artwork displayed at the gallery will ONLY be able to be sold by R Gallery for a period of 6 months after the initial start of display even if the artwork is returned to the artist. This gives us the chance to sell it to a returning customer who saw it in the gallery.
