In honor of June being "Pride Month," we invite artists to submit artwork reflecting pride in the LGBTQ+ community. We want to see work from our LGBTQ+ identifying artists, as well as all of our allies throughout the world.

The subject matter and medium can be anything that reflects pride in our LGBTQ+ community. However, please keep in mind that legally we cannot display erotic artworks or artworks with nudity, even if they are artistic/tasteful. We are looking for artworks to virtually simulate a Pride Parade. The artworks do not have to have literal people in them. Our gallery encourages abstract as well as literal representations. Artworks that are colorful, have the pride flag, are bold in choices, textures, expressions, intentions, etc. will be particularly considered.

Application Requirements

KBM Art Gallery is an ONLINE ONLY art gallery, so there will be no need to ship your artwork(s) to us. Our gallery is proud to display to a social media audience of over 26,000 followers and is constantly growing.

"Be Proud, Be Loud!" will go live on our website main page on Saturday, June 3rd through Friday, June 30th.

Our art gallery promotes our exhibits daily on both Instagram and Twitter. Every artist accepted into our show will receive their own social media post promoting their individual work(s). We do not remove any of these social media posts, even after the exhibitions close. If we still receive inquires about your artwork from any of these social media posts after the exhibition closes; we will promptly forward them to you.

KBM Art Gallery promotes your artwork at the price set in your CaFe account. You, the artist, will be entitled to 100% of the profits from the sell of said artwork under the agreement to work directly with the buyer to negotiate framing/shipping/etc. We will accept any price set, however, encourage artists to consider lower prices in the current market in order to achieve more sales.

If the artwork sells during the time of the exhibit, it will remain online, but be marked as, "SOLD," for our online audience. You, the artist, still retain the right to sell and promote the artwork at your own discretion, but agree to promptly let the gallery know if the artwork is sold, so we can mark it that way for our online audience.

Eligibility Criteria

Please send at least 1 jpeg image and up to 6 jpeg images of up to 6 different artworks.

We accept artworks in any medium, including 3D works. Artworks that do not meet the picture requirements may be automatically disqualified, so please read the guidelines carefully:

For 3D works, use an all-white background. Ensure the piece is very well-lit so the background remains white and not an off-white/gray color. We do not want to see a bunch of shadows from the piece, unless they are part of the art installation. Please crop the photo so the artwork is centered.

For 2D works ensure the artwork is very well-lit and clear. We do not want to see blurry images, shadows, or dark edges. Also, please crop the photo to be of the artwork only. We do not want to see the unfinished edges of the art, it on an easel, hanging on a wall or inside of the frame. Save those photos to send to any potential buyers.

You can edit the photo to ensure the exposure/lighting/edges/etc. look best. Just please make sure the artwork is still correctly represented.

We accept artworks created in any year, so if the piece is older, please ensure it is clean and dust-free.

There is no size limit. Anything you are willing to ship to a potential buyer, we are willing to display.

Artworks do not have to be for sale.

Please make sure all the details in your CaFe account are up-to-date and accurate.

There is no need to re-submit an artwork to us that you have already submitted in the past, for another exhibit. We keep all past submissions on file and if we are interested in anything you have previously submitted we will reach out to you for permission to display it.

Must be 18 years or older.

Artwork must be an original work by the artist submitting it.

Again, please do not send any artwork containing nudity. Even if you believe it is artistic/tasteful; legally we cannot display it.

Do not send artwork with any harassing or offensive themes.

Do not send erotic artwork.

If you have questions about whether or not your artwork could be considered erotic/harassing/offensive/nude, or if you have any questions about the guidelines in general, please contact our gallery prior to submitting.
