Tubac Center of the Arts is pleased to present Celebrate Santa Cruz Valley!; a regional juried

exhibition recognizing and celebrating the national designation of the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area.

Artwork should reflect the themes of the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area’s eleven interpretive storylines that characterize the Desert Abundance and Cultural Encounters of this desert frontier – Sonoran Desert, sky islands and desert seas, streams in the desert, bird habitat and migration corridors, Native American lifeways, the Spanish and Mexican frontier, desert farming, ranching traditions, mining booms, military posts, and U.S.-Mexico border culture – that together form a unique and distinctive landscape. For more information on Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Alliance visit their website: santacruzheritage.org

Exhibit award winners' artwork will be featured in a special follow-up exhibit at Discover Marana Visitors Center, 13251 N Lon Adams Rd, Marana, AZ 85653, from November 21, 2023 through December 20, 2023.
