We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for artists to participate in our upcoming exhibition, "Large Art the Size of Small Art." This call for entry invites artists to showcase their creativity on a small but impactful canvas, with artworks not exceeding 154 square inches (INCLUDING Frame). We believe that great things can come in small packages, and this exhibition is a celebration of the intricate beauty that can be captured within a limited space.

This exhibit seeks to emphasize the power of the small, the intricate, and the delicately detailed. We encourage artists to explore the richness that can be found within the confines of limited dimensions. This exhibition is an ode to the nuances that may be overlooked in larger works but shine brilliantly when given the spotlight they deserve.

Whether your chosen medium is painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media, or any other form of visual art, we invite you to embrace the challenge of creating within a compact space. Let your creativity flourish as you convey profound emotions, intricate details, and captivating stories through your small-scale artworks.

Submission Guidelines:
- Artwork Size: Not to exceed 154 square inches (height x width) including frame
- Open to all mediums
- Artists may submit up to 12 artworks for consideration - (we typically will only select 1 piece from each selected artist)

The exhibit will be held at R Gallery from Nov 29th thru Jan 14th, 2024. Selected artists will have their work featured in the gallery and will be invited to attend the opening reception. 

R Gallery is a fine art gallery in downtown Boulder, Colorado. We focus on Colorado artists working in all styles in all mediums. Join us for our next exhibition.

Shipping: Accepted works must arrive no later than the Sunday prior to the start of the exhibit. Work will be returned within 2 weeks of the end of the exhibt unless otherwise agreed upon. A prepaid return label must be provided if sending the work by carrier.

Sales: All sales will be handled through R Gallery. A 50% commission will be charged unless otherwise stated in proceeding agreements. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during and after the exhibition. R Gallery will send checks to the artist for the sale of their work by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs.
