National Deadline: August 11, 2023 – The DiMattio Gallery at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ is currently accepting proposals for the 2024 academic year.  Proposed Exhibition Date: January 16 – March 8, 2024. We invite artists to submit works in any medias including video, photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation, graphic design, and new media.  Exhibition proposals may consist of solo, two person, and small group exhibitions.

Application Materials to submit:

1.     Twelve images of recent work that give an accurate indication of the quality and theme of work to be exhibited.  Please provide high resolution jpegs (300 dpi, 4” x 6”).

2.     Image list that provides the corresponding title, media, and dimensions for each image.

3.     Exhibition proposal, 500-1000 words.

4.     Artist’s statement.

5.     Resume, including bio, exhibition record, and contact information.

Sale of work

All work, unless indicated that it is not for sale (NFS), will be available for purchase during the exhibit.  Monmouth University, DiMattio Gallery, will not retain a commission on any artwork sold during the exhibition.  Artists are responsible for following up on any sales/transactions following the conclusion of the exhibition.  The gallery will not collect monies or arrange for shipping of sold artwork.  The artwork will be insured only while on the gallery premises in accordance with Monmouth University policy.

 

Artists are responsible for shipping their work to the gallery in sturdy, reusable boxes, or crates.  Monmouth University will provide return shipping to the artist.

You will receive a confirmation email to tell you that the files were sent successfully.  You will also receive an email once the files have been downloaded.
