Submit to Biafarin Awards to gain global exposure and win USD 10,000 in cash and prizes

Biafarin proudly presents Biafarin Awards 2023; an annual international art awards with cash grants and prizes, open to visual artists working in any medium worldwide.

Now, in its third year, and with more than USD 10,000 in cash grants and valuable prizes, Biafarin awards provides an exceptional opportunity to artists, emerging or experienced, to get noticed by art experts, collectors, and art enthusiasts worldwide.

The award intends to reward artists' efforts to elevate awareness and justice and keep hope, peace, and happiness alive via their art in this challenging time.

Submission is free and a fixed fee applies to selected artists only.

Biafarin is a Canadian artist management company, with an art technology platform; assisting artists from 120+ countries to present, promote and sell their art globally. 

 

AWARDS

■ Cash Grants
CAD 3000 for 3 artists (each CAD 1000).

■ Solo Exhibitions
10 Artists will be selected for online solo exhibition.

Each artists can showcase up to 15 artworks for two months.

A promotion program will be executed to enhance the selected artists' exposure and increase the artwork sales during the exhibition period.

This program includes:

- Press release sent out

- Catalogue circulation

- Social media presentation

■ Magazine Publication
10 artists will be selected to publish in Observica contemporary art magazine.

Each artist will be published in 2 colorful A4-sized pages of the magazine.

The artist's photo and biography will be published on one full page.

On the second page, the selected artwork image will be showcased along with the artwork data, artist photo, and a life-long active link with QR code.

■ Group Exhibition
Selected artworks will be showcased in an international smart online group exhibition. All selected artworks will be exhibited online for 2 months from November 11, to January 11, 2024.

■ Book Publication
A subset of selected artists will be published in a special edition of The Book of Arts series. 

The online version of the book will be available for free, while the high-quality print can be ordered via print-on-demand services.

The book will be promoted and distributed globally, becoming available to thousands of readers, including experts, galleries, curators, businesses, and art enthusiasts, via popular publication gateways.

■ Artwork Sales
Selected artworks will be promoted to sell via an online exhibition link.

Not-for-Sale and Sold artworks are accepted.

■ Exhibition Catalogue
All selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful catalogue available online. The catalogue will remain available online in Biafarin platform and will be promoted internationally and circulated and available to thousands of viewers via popular publication gateways.

■ Promotional Badges
A digital promotional badge for each artwork will be sent to each artist to share in the social media.

■ Certificate
A digital certificate will be issued and sent to all selected artists.
 

FEES
Submission is FREE.

A fixed fee of USD 50 applies to selected artists only.

Maximum 2 artworks will be selected from each artist.

Open to all visual artists worldwide. 
 

ARTWORK ELIGIBILITY

Art Categories: Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Photography, Digital Arts, Sculpture, Installation, Metalsmithing, Assemblage, Decorative Arts, Crafts, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Collage, Design, Fiber Art, Textile Art, Book Art, Land Art, Paper Art, Glass Art, Wood Art, Landscape, Portraits, Abstract Art.

Style: All styles are welcome.

Size: There is no size limit for submitted artworks.

Duration: There is no limit for artwork creation year. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred.

Number of Artworks: Artists are invited to submit up to 10 pieces of their original artworks.

Originality and Rights: 
- Artworks must be entirely the work of the artist, executed without the supervision of an instructor.
- Artist should own all the rights for promoting, publishing and selling the artworks locally and internationally.
- Artworks that, in reasonable view of the organizer, include porn, violence, and/or racial, and religious hatred, inappropriate and/or offensive content, are not admissible.
- Entries must not be copies or derivatives based, in any way, on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs, sculptures, or other artistic works.
- Organizers have the rights to use artworks and artists data for promoting the exhibition.

Others: Artworks that, in reasonable view of the organizer, include porn, violence, and/or racial, and religious hatred, inappropriate and/or offensive content, are not admissible.
