Call Description

F. Scott Fitzgerald once said "The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function." The Lab on Santa Fe is asking for artists to submit work taking this quote into consideration. For example, are you able to bring a sense of utter beauty into your work combined with a shadow side as well? Can you walk the line between reverence and irreverence within one piece? We would like to feel a sense that your work has continuous depth and that you are able to hold a viewers attention for more than just a few moments. The Lab on Santa Fe is right in the Heart of the Santa Fe Art District in Downtown Denver. Thousands of people attend our First Friday Art Crawls as well as many serious buyers who come through on regular Saturdays and Sundays.

Application Requirements

-Any one piece submitted must be within the price range below $1,800 and above $300. If you only have pieces above $1,800 or below $300, this is not the correct exhibition for you. 

-Any art accepted into the exhibition must be dropped off or picked up in person. Work will NOT be eligible for this exhibition if it needs to be shipped. Out-of-State applicants will also be considered as long as this important eligibility requirement is fully understood. Please do not apply if this is not possible.
