Theme: "The Connection to Land"
We are seeking artwork that explores the profound relationship between humans and the land. This theme encourages artists to interpret and showcase their perspectives on the beauty, significance, and intrinsic ties we share with the surrounding landscapes. Through various mediums and artistic styles, we hope to see how the theme can be expressed in ways that evoke emotion, reflection, and a sense of place.

Budget:
The total budget for the art call initiated by H.D. Fowler is $15,000. The budget has been allocated across three distinct areas or segments. While each area has a potential allocation of $5,000, it's important to note that the distribution of the total budget among these areas can be uneven.
Artists are encouraged to consider the dimensions while submitting their artwork proposals, ensuring that the pieces align with the specified sizes and can be suitably displayed in a prominent location.

Application Requirements

Submission Guidelines:
Each submission should include high-quality images of the proposed artwork along with the artist's name, contact information, a brief description of the piece's inspiration and connection to the theme, and how the artist has a connection to the Boise region.
The submission deadline is Oct 15, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Artwork Specifications:
In our endeavor to enrich the surroundings with creativity and inspiration, we have identified three distinct areas within our Boise, Idaho Branch that are ideal for showcasing artwork. Each of these areas offers a unique canvas for artistic expression. We seek to fill these spaces with up to three art pieces carefully selected to complement the dimensions of each area. Below are the details of the three designated art spaces and their respective maximum sizes:
Area 1: The Open Foyer:
1-3 pieces Maximum Space Dimensions: 5 feet (height) X 4 feet (width)
Area 2: The Customer Lounge:
1-3 pieces Maximum Space Dimensions: 4 feet (height) X 6 feet (width)
Area 3: The Open Staircase
1-3 pieces Maximum Space Dimensions: 9 feet (height) X 6 feet (width)
