Art Around the Corner: Celebrating 20 Years of Public Art

The Art Around the Corner (AAC) Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the arts, enriching the community, and bringing fine art to Southern Utah. AAC partners closely with the City of St. George, Utah, in this effort. In 2024 AAC will celebrate 20 years of operation. Throughout this span of time, the organization has recruited world-class, professional artists to participate in a unique “art on loan” program: Each year AAC solicits, selects and installs approximately 25-30 new pieces of 3D public art in its outdoor galleries located in St. George, Utah. Nationally renowned artists lend their works to Art Around the Corner (free of charge) for one year, and all sculptures are offered for sale or lease to public and private collectors. A large number of displayed sculptures are sold each year (more than $1,000,000 in sales to date), including sculptures purchased by the City of St. George and St. George Regional Hospital for their permanent collections.

Art Around the Corner’s main sculpture gallery is outside, located in Historic Downtown St. George. In 2019, the footprint of the sculpture gallery was further extended to include displays at St. George Regional Hospital.

We appreciate the talented participating artists who make it possible for the Foundation to fulfill its mission to support the arts and to bring fine arts to our community.
