This exhibit, with the theme of "Pink and White Blossoms" will run from May 18-June 2, 2024 at Howard County Welcome Center located at 8267 Main Street in Ellicott City, Maryland.
A panel of jurors will select work from both professional and amateur artists. Artists will be notified by email if their piece has been accepted.
Artwork must be ready to hang and properly framed/wired. Artwork is limited to 24" x 24" although a few larger pieces may be accepted.
Artwork drop off is May 14-15, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Howard County Welcome Center.
Artwork pickup is Tuesday, June 4-5, 2024.
Information accompanying the art must include: art title, artist's name, sale price or NFS, artist's email and phone number.
The exhibition spaces are not secured. Artists may wish to carry their own insurance.
Opening Reception will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 4-6 pm. Awards for grand prize: $250; 1st Place $150; 2nd Place $100.
Artists may elect to have their work be for sale. A 20% commission will be charged on any artworks sold. Artists will be mailed a check for sold work following the close of the exhibition.
Artists are required to sign an “Agreement to Exhibit” liability waver.
Filing of the entry form constitutes an agreement on the part of the entrant to all conditions set forth in the prospectus, including permission to use images of the exhibited work in print or on-line media for promotional, educational or archival purposes, and for the creation of a catalogue of the exhibit.
Accepted artwork may ultimately be refused at The Visitor's Center discretion if unable to install or hang properly, or if art varies greatly from the submission image.
Artwork pricing specified at the time of submission cannot be changed later. Please verify that the price specified upon submission accounts for any expenses occurred as part of gallery commission.

All forms of 2D painting, drawing and photography accepted at this show. Limited to approximately 50 pieces.
We welcome all Maryland artisans, whether students, amateur or professional to enter exhibit. We are an inclusive group that promotes unity and supports the arts in our community.
Artwork cannot contain toxic, flammable or otherwise inherently dangerous material, endanger gallery visitors in any way, and artists must provide all the necessary equipment, hardware or other components required for installation.
