Located in Basalt, Colorado, the Art Base fosters creative expression in the visual arts through education for all ages and abilities, mentorships for young artists, as well as curated exhibit opportunities for Colorado fine artists in our two galleries.

This call presents opportunities for solo, group, and guest-curated exhibitions of Colorado-based fine artists with an emphasis on those living in the Roaring Fork Valley. All mediums will be considered.

The Art Base offers a supportive professional solo exhibition experience. Our small and dedicated team of installers, curators, designers, and exhibition managers excel at collaborating with artists to make each show unique and stand out in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Application Requirements

• 6 to 12 hi-resolution images of your work

• show proposal

• an artist statement for the proposed show

• CV + bio

• 2 professional references

Eligibility Criteria

You must be a Colorado resident to apply.

If you have previously had a solo exhibition at the Art Base, there must be minimum 5 years between your exhibition and your re-application.
