A NATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION:
January 5 - February 25, 2024
Water-based pigments on paper must constitute the major portion of the work. Entries composed of paper constructions, paper sculpture, paper collage, cut paper, mobiles, or two or three-dimensional wall pieces, and installations are eligible. Artists are urged to enter work that is innovative in concept and approach, whether representational or abstract. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months. Work that has been previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. All work must be the original creation of the artist.
ARTWORK:
Giclee reproductions are NOT permitted. Entry must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA.
No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close of the exhibition on Sunday, February 25, 2024, including sold art.
JUROR: Tracy Lynn Ross
Tracy Lynn began her art career as a teacher of K-6, and continued teaching to middle school art students, serving for 23 years. After she retired from the school system, she continued to teach in the private sector and is currently teaching watercolor painting to all levels of students. She also leads the occasional painting outings in locations around the area. In her free time she travels with her husband, and is always sketching the beauty she encounters.
Tracy Lynn Ross continues to work supporting the artists’ community as a teacher, showing artist, and as the current VP of Shows in the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild (SAWG). She currently is a Signature Artist in the guild and an award winning artist in the Western Federation of Watercolor Society. Her paintings are exhibited in the SAWG gallery and at Gusto’s Osteria Restaurant, and she has completed many commissions which are now in private collections.

PRESENTATION:
All artwork must arrive ready to hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted, (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed, and firmly wired. No sawtooth hangers. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry upon arrival that does not meet the above requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display.
JURY/FEES
Payments are made at the end of the CaFE™ entry process either via credit card online or a check mailed to the art center.
Jurying will be done on the basis of digital images in a jpg format only. Up to four works may be entered for consideration.
$40 ($36 with TCA Member discount)
$5 each additional entry image up to 4 entries
($3 each additional image fee with TCA Member discount)
The Member discount code for the first entry is AZ38 and AZ38X for additional entries which are entered at checkout. You must be a current member to use the discount code. Any submissions by nonmembers taking the member discount will be disqualified from the jurying process without refund. Members receive discounts on fees to all exhibitions as well as discounts in our gift shop and to special events. SALES:
All work must be for sale. TCA will retain a 40% commission. Price work accordingly.
SHIPPING:
Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after close of the exhibition. Artists must provide a barcoded preprinted PREPAID shipping label for the return of their artwork. Please, no styrofoam peanuts.
