2024 Open Studio Tour:
An exhibition and a Studio Tour for Santa Cruz Valley Arizona artists. 

Artists are invited to apply to participate in the Tubac Center of the Arts Open Studio Tour 2024, which will take place March 8, 9, & 10, 2024 from 10:00 am-4 pm each day.  The Open Studio Tour is a marketing opportunity for serious professionals and a supportive environment to nurture and present new and emerging artists. This Tour extends from Nogales in the south to Sahuarita in the north along the I-19.  

Optional: Tour artists may contribute one piece to the Open Studio Tour Artists exhibition held at the art center, March 1 - April 14, 2024. Registered artists will be contacted at a later date for the exhibition entry details.

Please note: Artist studios must be located between Sahuarita, Arizona and Nogales, Arizona, along the I-19 corridor. Artists are encouraged to partner with other artists, if possible, to encourage more visitor traffic. Please consider any current COVID-19 recommendations when setting up your studio and welcoming visitors.

Images:
Artists agree to release the use of images of accepted works to TCA only as a permanent record of the exhibition and only for promotional use relating to the exhibition and the art center.

Catalog Image - VERY IMPORTANT

The image you enter into CaFE will be used for the Open Studio Tour catalog. When applying to the Open Studio Tour, please use the image that you want to be included in the OST catalog. 

The catalog image does not have to be the same artwork submitted for the Exhibition and may be an image that has already sold.  It is representational of your work.

Open Studio Tour

FEES: 

All fees are non-refundable

The OST participation fee is $100 for TCA artist members and $150 for TCA non-members.  Entry fee includes tour participation, catalog listing and all advertising and promotions of the event, as well as participation in the OST Preview Exhibit with Opening Reception.  

The TCA Member discount code is OST24 which is entered at checkout.  You must be a current member to use the discount code.  Any submissions by nonmembers taking the member discount may be disqualified from the participation process without refund. Members receive discounts on fees to all exhibitions as well as discounts in our gift shop and to special events. Poster Contest: We are no longer offering an Open Studio Tour poster.

OST Yard Signs: TCA will produce a limited number of yard signs for artists participating in the tour. Returning artists are encouraged to reuse existing signs from previous years.  Registered artists will be contacted with more information at a later date.

Open Studio Tour Exhibition:

The Open Studio Tour Exhibition will be held at the Tubac Center of the Arts, March 1 to April 14, 2024. 

The OST Artists Exhibition is offered as a benefit to artists participating in the studio tour.  It is an optional exhibition with no additional fees. The exhibition not only entices visitors to your studio but allows the opportunity to preview and sell your work. 

Open Studio Tour artists may submit one piece of artwork for the Open Studio exhibition at no additional cost. Due to gallery space limitations works may not be larger than 30" wide and the number of pieces accepted will be capped.  There will be a separate application emailed at a later date to all OST artists for submission to the OST Exhibition. Studio Tour artists will be contacted with further details on how to enter the Studio Tour Exhibition.

Legal Agreement. All studio tour artists must register and submit their applications via CaFE. The catalog will be produced with the image and content you provide in the CAFE application. It is the artist's responsibility to provide accurate listing information for the catalog including, image information, studio address, and contact information. Catalog proofs will be provided to artists via email for review prior to printing. It is assumed that all information is correct if the artist does not respond to proof by the deadline. 

Any changes to the studio location or artist's availability after the catalog is printed will be published on the TCA website.  Please communicate any changes to the TCA staff so that we can provide accurate information to visitors.

By applying to the studio tour, the artist agrees to release the use of any image of themselves and their art in relation to the event, as a permanent record of the event and for promotional use relating to the tour and the art center. The applicant agrees to all terms listed in the application/prospectus. If using the Member Discount, the applicant agrees that he/she is a current member of Tubac Center of the Arts at the time of application and agrees to keep membership in good standing at the time of the tour.

Application information entered will be used in the studio tour catalog. Artists are responsible for providing correct and accurate studio and contact information.

Eligibility Criteria

Artists 18 years or older, living or working in Southern Arizona along the I-19 corridor between Nogales and Sahuarita, AZ are eligible to participate.
