SECTION ONE: GUIDELINES • Deadline All materials must be submitted by March 15, 2013. Notification Winners will be notified by the end of May 2013. • Award-Criteria Awards will be based on the strength of applicants work, intended course of study, academic achievement and reference. • Eligibility: Applicant must be enrolled in a Jewelry or Metals program for the upcoming year. The scholarship is not limited to university programs; community college programs are eligible. SECTION TWO: APPLICATION MATERIALS CHECKLIST APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE ONE OF EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: • Resume Including name, address, contact information, educational history, and work history. Include any awards, exhibitions or other scholarships you may have received. • Artist Statement Please limit this to one type written page Applicants may submit a maximum of 8 digital images, with a MINIMUM of 5 images. Images MUST be of a minimum of 4 completed pieces. • Reference The reference section should have your name at the top followed by the information of the person indicated as a reference. Include that person's name, work position, academic affiliation, address and telephone number. • Transcript (award recipients only) One copy of a transcript from the educational institution you are currently attending.
