ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all US residents 18 years of age or older, excluding fotofoto gallery artists. Any photographic medium including digital and alternative processes will be accepted.
The maximum height or width of framed work cannot exceed 24 inches.
Works previously exhibited at fotofoto gallery are ineligible for submission.
Please note that we will not accept an entry with any substantial artificial intelligence rendering.
Free-standing pieces cannot be accepted.
SUBMISSIONS
All entries must be submitted via the CaFE system. Mail-in entries will not be considered. Images must
conform to CaFE formatting standards. Instructions can be found in the CaFE help section.
File Type: JPEG or JPG only.
File Dimensions: 2,000 pixels or greater on the longest side.

FOR ACCEPTED ENTRIES
Approximately 30 photographs will be chosen for a 24 day-long exhibition from March 7 - March 30, 2024, to be hung in our gallery and also online on our website. Shipping information will be provided to artists selected for participation upon completion of the jury process. To ensure the cohesiveness of the exhibition, we request that work be framed in simple black or white frames with neutral museum quality mats (no colors, please). All framed pieces must be wired.
ABOUT fotofoto Gallery
fotofoto gallery was formed in 2003 by a group of fine art photographers desiring to create a center where photographic visions could be exchanged. Now in our 21st year, fotofoto gallery continues to be a place for traditional black and white, digital, experimental and alternative processes. The gallery hosts twelve exhibitions each year and reaches out to the community by providing invitational shows, workshops and lectures. The gallery is located in the heart of Huntington, New York and is open Thursday through Sunday and by appointment.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
ABOUT THE JUROR
Meredith Brown – Consulting Curator of Art at the Heckscher Museum in Huntington, NY.
Meredith A. Brown is a feminist art historian and curator of modern and contemporary art. She earned a Ph.D. and master’s degree from The Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London, and has worked in a variety of art institutions both large and small, including The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University. She currently serves as the Consulting Curator of Contemporary Art at The Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington, NY.

FEES: 5 images - $45. Images 6 -15 may be submitted for an additional charge of $6 per image. DEADLINES: All submissions: February 9, 2024, midnight (standard mountain time)
