The 2024 Casa Bonita Art Show - How do you like me now?

ALL ART MUST DIRECTLY RELATE TO THE CASA BONITA RESTAURANT IN LAKEWOOD, COLORADO!

NEXT Gallery is thrilled to host the 7th Annual Casa Bonita Art Show 

Casa Bonita, the 52,000 sq-ft restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado has reopened and we want to know what you think!

PLEASE BE AWARE: The Casa Bonita logo and font are trademarked. 

This is a national juried call, and is open to artwork in all mediums. Cash prizes will be awarded.

SELECTION

Submissions will be juried by Mona Lucero, a highly respected fashion designer, known for her leadership and commitment to the Denver fashion and art scene, Casa Bonita Art Show founder, Dolla B, and Casa Bonita Aficionado, Andrew Novick 

NEXT Gallery is an artist owned and operated gallery whose mission is to promote art appreciation and education through community outreach. 

All work must be gallery-ready; must have a secure hanging mechanism and professional presentation. 

DEADLINE

The deadline to enter for consideration in this show is midnight, (MST)  February 6th, 2024. No late applications will be considered.

NOTIFICATION

Results of the judging will be emailed no later than February 8th, 2024. Art drop-off will take place February 10th and 11th.

Specific arrangements will be made with out-of-state artists.

EXHIBITION DATES

Accepted work will be exhibited at NEXT Gallery from Friday, February 16 - Saturday, March 3, 2023. 

FEES

$25 fee per submission. Each submission is one piece of art. Entry fees must be paid through callforentry.org , fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee acceptance into the show.

SALES

Any artwork sold will incur a 30% commission. Prices quoted on the entry form may not be changed after acceptance. Buyer will be charged sales tax for Lakewood area and buyer will be charged any applicable shipping fees. 

Purchased artwork must remain in the gallery until the exhibition closes.

Artists will be notified by email of any sales, and will receive payment for any sold works within one month of the close of the exhibition.

PICKUP

Unsold artwork must be picked up Sunday, March 3, 2024 unless prior arrangements have been made. Mailed artwork will be returned the week of March 4th, 2024.

Application Requirements

Application Requirements:

Submissions will only be accepted through Callforentry.org (www.callforentry.org).  Entries and credit card payment must be submitted on or before the posted deadline, with no entries accepted after this date.

Upload requirements for image files:

• File format: JPEG only
• File dimensions: No smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side
• File resolution: 72 ppi/dpi (standard web resolution)
• File size: 5 MB maximum
• Image must be correctly oriented (vertical or horizontal)
• No digital enhancement is allowed
• Maximum of 3 photos per entry

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility:

All artwork must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. 

No AI Art will be accepted.

Only entries submitted online through callforentry.org will be considered. 

The 2024 Casa Bonita Art Show is open to all.
