Statement of Purpose:

The Main Street Gallery invites you to enter the 2024 Fine Art Show and Sale. Open to regional artists working in the 6 categories listed below. The Main Street Gallery Fine Art Show and Sale takes place in Brighton, Colorado, across from the beautiful Founders Plaza in Historic Downtown Brighton, 36 S. Main Street. Historic Downtown Brighton offers an array of unique shops, cafes, restaurants and breweries.

The Main Street Gallery Show will run from Oct 11th thru Oct 23rd 2024.

About our Judge:

 We are honored to have Colorado Fine Art Artist Sheri Farabaugh from Thornton, Colorado as our judge for the show. Sheri is a signature member of Oil Painters of America, the American Society of Marine Artists, and American Women Artists, Associate Living Master with Renewal Center, and a member of the Salmagundi Club in NYC. She has been featured in and on the cover of Fine Art Connoisseur and featured in Southwest Art and International Artist magazine as well as Art of the West Magazine.  She has received many awards of excellence: Best of Show, 1st Place, and Creative Achievement. Sheri is represented by Mary Williams Fine Art Gallery in Boulder, CO; Abend Gallery in Denver, CO; and Main Street Gallery in Brighton, CO. To see Sheri’s work and learn more about her, go to

Application Requirements


Only entries received online through CaFÈ ( will be considered.  Artists will be notified by email of the juror’s decisions by Sept. 1st, 2024. Main Street Gallery will undertake the most care in handling all entries; the Gallery will not be held liable for any damage occurring while in the gallery.  Insuring the artwork is the responsibility of the artist.


Eligibility Criteria


1.     Artist must be 18 years or older.

2.     Applications must be completed online through CaFÈ (

3.     No copies, kits, giclee reproductions, or work done in a class or under supervision of an instructor will be accepted.

4.     All accepted artwork must be Hand Delivered to gallery on Tuesday, Sept 24th through Saturday, Sept 28th between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm daily.

5.        Artwork must be original in both concept and execution, no copies or giclee reproductions.

6.        Artwork must be appropriate for audiences and general public venue (no nudity).

7.        Artwork must be ready to hang using wire and hardware that will support its weight. No sawtooth hangers accepted.

9.        Please note, Photography, Digital and/or AI Artwork will not be excepted or included.

Awards: Cash awards of $1200 will be awarded.

Submission Information:

1.     Entry fee is nonrefundable on all entries.

2.     Your email address will be our primary contact source. Add to your contacts to prevent communications from going to your spam folder.

3.     Only artwork selected by juror will be displayed or eligible for show awards. No substitutions allowed.

4.     Submit only images of your artwork; do not include frame.

5.     Invited or Not Invited artwork will receive notification via email from CaFÈ.

6.     Submission to this Exhibition constitutes acceptance to all stated terms and conditions.


Please set the price for your artwork carefully; all artwork must be for sale. The price you assign to your artwork in CaFÈ online entry will be the price posted for the exhibit. The price cannot be changed, no exceptions.


All exhibited artwork must be for sale. All artwork must be present during the duration of the show. Sales of invited artwork pieces will be handled through Main Street Gallery, which will retain a 30% commission on all sales resulting from the exhibition. If artwork is sold, artist will receive payment via USPS mailed check within 14 days after the close of the show.

Framing and Mounting Requirements:

1.     All artwork must be framed, or gallery wrapped canvas with a 1.5” minimum thickness. Canvas edges must be finished.

2.     Any gallery wrapped canvases less than 1.5” must be framed.

3.     Artwork must be ready to hang using wire and hardware that will support its weight. No saw-tooth hangers accepted.

4.     Artwork must meet size limitation: cannot exceed 36” on any side, including frame, and cannot weight over 50 lb.
