Celebration of the Eucharist

Holy Name Catholic Church is inviting 2D artists from around the country to participate in a highly reverent display of art featuring the Most Blessed Sacrament, The Eucharist. Catholic artists are highly encouraged to participate, but all artists, regardless of religion, are welcome to submit art.

Artwork can be any representation (realism or abstract) of the Holy Eucharist. The artwork must be respectful, as the Eucharist is the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. Creativity is a plus!

Our art show will open just days before the Eucharistic Procession reaches Steamboat Springs, in Colorado on June 4-5, 2024.

See the route here.

From our Pacific coast, the western arm of the Pilgrimage will cross the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains on foot. The Junipero Serra Route will be the longest and most challenging branch of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage—covering over 2,200 miles!

Application Requirements

The deadline for submission is Tuesday, April 30, 2024; Artists will be notified of their status via email by Thursday, May 4-8th, 2024. If your work is selected, it must arrive presentation ready (framed and with appropriate installation materials).
