Strictly Abstract 2024. An ONLINE Exhibition
O'Hanlon Center is looking for fresh, nonrepresentational work that inspires, evokes and conveys the essence of your art.
Juried by world renowned gallerist Anthony Meier.
Ann O’Hanlon said: “... discover the uniqueness, the singular presence, the vibration, color, shape, texture, temperature, time-space motion, of oneself. IT IS ALL BOUND TO BE THERE”
The non-profit O'Hanlon Center for the Arts was founded in 1969.
Accepted artists will expect:
A beautifully curated and well publicized online shows that features the art and artists.
- Each show is divided into curated "walls" and a poet is engaged to write a brief text .
- A professionally designed and downloadable PDF program featuring each artist. This is available on our website.
- Each artist promoted through our social media instagram and facebook at least once during the run of show. Artists are encouraged to provide their social media handles.
- An online art talk about the exhibition with artists and others that is recorded and made available through our vimeo page.
- The shows are promoted to local media and weekly through our 5K email list throughout run of show.
- All Shows are archived and available after run of exhibition.
Each artist may submit up to 3 individual pieces of artwork for consideration into this juried online show. All media welcome except video. YES photography, fiber, sculpture, digital etc. Work created with the assistance of AI must be identified as such. Diptychs and Triptychs are considered 1 piece of work. Diptychs and Triptychs must be submitted as one image.
- Submissions fees to O’Hanlon Center for the Arts: $40 for NON-Members

Submission Fees go to:
Submission platform, webmaster, juror, office administration, poet, curator and social media ads and publicity. Anything left over funds helps to support the programs of our non-profit art Center.
Image requirements:
- File Type: JPEG or JPG only.
- File Dimensions: 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side.
- File Size: between 1 – 5 MB.

The deadline for Submissions is Tuesday March 26 at 11 pm Pacific Time.
To create the exhibition program we download the artists’ works description, title and price for the selected art from what artists submit to CaFE. When entering this information, PLEASE be sure your art descriptions and artist statement are correct.
Artists will be notified of results by email by 5pm Friday April 5th, 2024.
There will be a zoomed Roundtable art discussion to celebrate the show on Thursday April 18 at 4 pm Pacific time open to all. Zoom link will be emailed to selected artist and available on OHCA Website.

ABOUT THE JUROR:
Anthony Meier was established in 1984 as a private dealer in the secondary market. Working with both public and private collections, Anthony Meier built a highly regarded international reputation specializing in post- World War II contemporary masters. In 1996 Anthony Meier opened a public gallery space in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. In 2023 the gallery opened a new location in Mill Valley, California in a historic building downtown.
As a public forum, Anthony Meier mounts five or more exhibitions per year dedicated to emerging, mid-career and established artists. The work shown in the gallery is consistent with the quality and visual aesthetic on which the business was founded.
Anthony Meier is active both locally and globally, with membership in the Art Dealers Association of America and the San Francisco Art Dealers Association. Past and present participation in the major art fairs of the world has helped to merge our primary and secondary programs and present the gallery program as a cohesive progression, from post-war masterworks to contemporary artists working today. With our range and quality of work, the gallery inventory maintains a current and well-articulated profile in the art world at large.
