Juror:  Eriq Hochuli began a lifelong love affair with the arts young as a creator and consumer of illustrated media. He attended the State University of New York at Albany, receiving a BA in Visual Arts focusing on drawing and sculpture. He spent summers working with children in Colorado camps and cemented a love for education, both physical and academic. After earning his Masters in Teaching from Sage College, he moved to Colorado permanently and, in 2013, found his calling working in education and exhibitions at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, CO. Since 2016, he has assumed the title of Curator, managing all aspects of the exhibitions department. Eriq finds the most fulfillment in helping artists realize ambitious and confident shows of their work while distilling down powerful conversations for the audience. After installing more than 100 exhibitions, large and small, Eriq continues to challenge artists and audiences to find artistry all around them and better understand the creative process.
