Call Description
Project Overview
Logan City in partnership with Somebody’s Attic are seeking submissions from artists/artist teams to create a mural for the west facing alley wall of Somebody’s Attic located at 39 W 100 N in Logan. The proposed wall mural project area is 56’ x 7’ (392 SF). The mural project area is highlighted in the image below. The committee will consider proposals that do not use the entire area or include additional portions of the wall. A link to an image of the alley and project area can be found here. (Click here for a link to an image of the alley and project area)
Creative Brief provide by Somebody’s Attic
The alley is dark and narrow, as alleys are, so we are picturing a colorful piece that will beautify the alley and engage travelers along the mid-block thoroughfare. Our desire is for a mural that depicts the broad scope of activities and variable seasons of Cache Valley.
Downtown Mural Grant Project Overview
This project is being partially funded by the Logan City Downtown Mural Grant program. A link to a full program guide can be found here: Mural Grant Program Guide.
