GENERAL RULES

·      Radius 250 is open to artists 18 years and above that live and/or work within a 250-mile radius of Richmond, VA.

·      Submissions are open to artwork in all genres, 2D and 3D.

·      Artwork creation date must be 2021 or later.

·      Only selected artwork will be included in the exhibition. No substitutions allowed.

·      All artwork must be submitted through Café.

·      Non-refundable fee required:

$35 - 1 to 3 images

·      For video entries, artists must provide display equipment if work is selected.

·      Artwork size: All work must be able to get through our door, 33 inches width by 82 3/4 inches height with a diagonal of 88 inches. The height of gallery walls is 96 inches.

·      Selections will be made without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, or national origin. Every reasonable effort within the capacity of Artspace will be made to accommodate artists with disabilities or accessibility needs.

ARTWORK

·      Selected work must be delivered to Artspace, 2833-A Hathaway Rd., Richmond, VA 23225 during the times stated above for inclusion in the exhibition.

·      Artwork that is accepted and delivered to the gallery must remain on view in the gallery until the end of the exhibit and may not be offered for sale at any other location while it is on view at Artspace. Work not return-shipped or picked-up will become the property of Artspace, the use of which will be determined by the gallery.

·      All 2D artwork selected for this exhibition must be received from the artist ready to hang on the wall with D-rings and wires on the back of the work. The wire should be installed moderately tightly at the top third of the artwork or it may be excluded from the show.

·      The artist, by submitting their artwork, gives permission for Artspace to display the artwork on our website, Facebook, and other social media and will allow the use of your artwork for promotional purposes for the exhibit.

·      Please do not submit any artwork to this juried exhibition that will be considered for other exhibitions or sales until you are notified by Artspace of the results of this show.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE

·      Any cost for delivery to or from the gallery is the responsibility of the artist. Artist must provide a pre-paid return shipping label for return shipping of the work; otherwise, artists may hand deliver and pick-up.

·      Do not ship artwork framed behind glass - use plexiglass only.

·      Artwork on view at Artspace is insured, however Artspace is not liable for any damages for artwork in transit to or from the gallery.

SALES

·      Artspace encourages sales of artwork, but it's not required. Include sale price or NFS with all entries. Retail price will be requested for insurance coverage purposes.

·      Artspace will collect payment for all sales from the exhibition including 6% sales tax.

·      Any selected NFT will be subject to a separate contract specifying sales and ownership conditions.

·      Artspace retains 45% of the listed sale price for its commission for all non-members. (For Artspace Members will a 25% commission will be withheld.)

·      Artists will receive payment from the gallery for their portion of sales within 30 days of the close of the exhibition.
