Join us October 11-13, 2024, in the Village of Charbonneau in Wilsonville, Oregon, for the Wilsonville Festival of the Arts @Charbonneau, the 40th Annual Charbonneau Festival of the Arts.This call is for the Fine Art Gallery. The festival also includes  Artisan Booths, a Student Art Gallery with student artwork from area high schools, and our always popular Silent Auction fundraiser. Juried-in artists are invited to hang up to five pieces, with an option to participate in the Packaged Art Store for matted art and cards. Gallery and Packaged Art Store sales are managed by Charbonneau Arts, with a 20% commission. Application for the Artisan Booth Show is managed through Zapplication.org. Second Entry Fee will be waived if applying in both places. Contact the admin for details.

The event opens with a Gala Opening Night Reception on Friday evening, October 11 (tickets required, 2 free per exhibiting artist), from 6-9 p.m., with food, champagne, music, and a Silent Auction fundraiser for the art programs at Canby and Wilsonville HIgh Schools. Fine Art and Student galleries are both open, along with the Packaged Artl Store, where up to 10 artists can offer matted art and cards for sale on a first-come-first-served basis. The Artisan Booth Show is in a separate building and will open from 5-7 p.m. 

All venues are open Saturday and Sunday, with free admission. 

Buyers come from throughout the Portland and Willamette Valley areas of Oregon. The event is promoted in Portland metropolitan area newspapers and newsletters and via Facebook and Instagram ads and public relations activities. 

Application Requirements

For jurying, artists are asked to submit five (5) photos of your works for hanging art or two (2) sculpture pieces. The photos submitted must be representative of the art or be the art, the artist plans to show. Packaged art is limited (because of space) to the first ten (10) juried artists who apply. Juried-in artists with packaged/matted art and/or cards must provide their own art bin and/or card display. Tables will be provided, where needed. Artists participating in the Packaged Art Store will be required to use our “Inventory and Tagging system” for both hanging and packaged art (provided upon acceptance). 

Eligibility Criteria

The event is open to all 2D and 3D artists. Paintings, Drawings, Photography and Glass Art.  All work exhibited must be the artists' original work or reproductions of original works.
