Artburst Studios offers fast-paced boutique style online shows multiple times a year. Shows last less than 72 hours and feature up to 35 artists with unique styles, working in a variety of mediums. Artists create 10-12 original pieces specifically for the show, taking the theme into consideration. 

The "Beyond Beautiful" Artburst Studios show opens online at Artburststudios.com on August 15th at 10am MT and runs through August 17th at 6pm MT.

Artists are actively promoted through show graphics, individual artist profile pages, blog posts, and on social media. Artwork sales take place on the Artburst platform. Artists ship pieces directly to collectors at the conclusion of the show. Shows include a mixture of returning artists and artists new to Artburst Studios.

Artist requirements

• Each selected artist will create a collection of 10-12 original pieces designed specifically for the show, taking the theme “Beyond Beautiful” into consideration.
• Artwork cannot have been previously advertised or exhibited.
• Artwork must be completed and uploaded a month in advance of the show.
• Artists must provide outstanding customer service to art lovers purchasing their work and ship pieces directly to collectors within 72 hours of the conclusion of the show.
• Artists must meet all deadlines and attend artist informational sessions.
• Artists must actively participate in show marketing.

Review process

Artist entries will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the final application deadline. 

Artists who make it to the second round of selection will receive an invitation to meet online with a member of the Artburst Leadership Team.  At this time, an overview of Artburst show processes, timelines and expectations will be reviewed with the artist. 

Within 48 hours of meeting, formal offers of acceptance will be sent via email, including the Artburst Artist Agreement. Artists must sign the agreement and submit a W-9 (if applicable) before being added to the final show roster. 

Artists may be invited to another upcoming Artburst show if the “Beyond Beautiful” show isn’t the right fit.

Previous Show Statistics

While we cannot guarantee future show results will be similar, here are statistics from previous Artburst Studios shows.

• Gross sales per show averaged $37,491
• Shows averaged 62 hours in length
• 85% of featured artists sold a minimum of one piece
• Artists averaged sales of $1,400+ per show
• The majority of artists reported selling to new collectors they’d never met before and saw an increase in social media followers and subscribers
• Several artists reported additional post show sales and commissions from art lovers who discovered their work during an Artburst Studios show
• The majority of artists in previous shows return for future shows

Important Dates (Dates provided are subject to change, but are provided as an example of what artists can expect.)

Artburst Studios provides ongoing communications through emails and artist virtual meetings. A more complete show timeline will be provided once the show roster is set so artists can plan in advance.

Within 2 weeks after final acceptance- Artists complete their online artist profile

July 14, midnight MT- All show artwork must be uploaded and finalized one month in advance of the show.

August 15, 10am MT- Show opens

August 17, 6pm MT- Show closes

August 20- Show Sales Reports will be emailed to artists for review and approval. Artists will coordinate shipment pieces directly with collectors and will submit an email to Artburst Studios with shipment tracking numbers, or confirmation of personal deliver. 

August 31- Final artist payments will be processed through Paypal or by check (based on artist preference) within 10 business days after Artburst Studios receives the following from the artist:

• Artist approval of the Show Sales Report
• Shipment tracking numbers or confirmation of personal delivery for all artworks sold

Application Requirements

Accepted Mediums: 

Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, Encaustic, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Jewelry, Fiber Arts, Ceramics, Woodworking, Glass, Beading

No AI generated work will be considered.

Artwork Samples:

Artwork samples included in the application should be representative of the medium and style of work the artist will be creating for the show. Artists creating 3D work are encouraged to submit a minimum of two photos taken from different angles for each piece.
 

Eligibility Criteria

• Artists must be 18 years or older.
• A 30% commission will be collected on all sales.
• All entries must be original and entirely the work of the artist.
• No copies, derivatives, reproductions, or giclees.
• Work cannot be based on copyrighted or previously published materials.
• Final work to be included in the show must not have been previously shown or advertised.
• Artist gives permission for Artburst Studios to use Images of sample and accepted show work for promotional purposes.
• Artists retain copyrights of their work.
• Artburst Studios reserves the right to refuse artwork submitted for the show at its sole discretion.
• Once show artwork is uploaded and approved, it is exclusive to Artburst until the show has closed.
• Artists understand and agree that photos of artwork they submit will appear online on the Artburst Studios website.
• Artwork samples included in the application should be representative of the medium and style of work the artist will be creating for the show. Artists creating 3D work are encouraged to submit a minimum of two photos taken from different angles for each piece.
• Artists are required to sign the Artburst Studios Artist Agreement and to submit a W-9 (if applicable) before final addition to the show roster.
