Brief

Create a tabletop piece (used for dinnerware, serve-ware, or tabletop accessories) for the physical world that addresses the design concepts in the work of Naoto Fukasawa.

Characteristics and inspiration must consider:

·      Minimalist form and materials

·      User experience: functional, easy to use

·      Sense of delight; enjoyable to use

·      Elements of humanism

11" x 17" full color high resolution graphic presentation ( image # 1)

3-D images of design in context and scale - (Up to 4 images-max)

Total -  3-5 High Resolution images (300dpi) uploaded

Judging Criteria

 STUDENT COMPETITION EXHIBITION

After the competition, a selection of the winning projects will be on published on the Philadelphia Museum of Art website, Collab online journal and displayed online through Collab/Philadelphia Museum of Art various social media platforms.

Eligibility Criteria

 Eligibility - Students submitting projects to the Collab Student Design Competition must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
