Thank you for considering submitting to our annual Fine Art Market sale!
The 38th Annual Fine Art Market is scheduled for November 29 - December 15, 2024. The Art Market will be held in the Main Gallery at the Arvada Center.
The Fine Art Market serves as the AC Galleries’ annual fundraiser and provides a unique shopping experience during the holiday season. The sale features more than 100 acclaimed Colorado artists working in a variety of media. Participating artists are either invited or are juried applicants. The Arvada Center staff manages all of the displays and completes artists' sales using Square. Artists are required to submit their inventory sheets in a digital format.
Sales will be split 60/40 between the artist and the Arvada Center in benefit of the Arvada Center Galleries. The deadline to apply is July 28.
Selected artists will be requested to provide enough items to last for a majority of the sale, with some limited back stock as necessary.
For example:
20-25 functional ceramic pieces
35-40 jewelry items
20 matted prints
6-9 medium-sized paintings
We are looking for the sale to include a variety of price points ranging from affordable gifts ($20 to $100) up through higher-end art/craft ($800 to approximately $2000+). The Market will be arranged like an exhibition with multiple works by each participating artist on display in the Main Gallery.
Art Market Applications:
The application process is for artists who have never participated in Art Market or who have not participated in Art Market in the past two years. Artists who have participated in past Arvada Center Fine Art Markets may be invited to return. If you have participated in the past but did not receive an invitation to return for this year’s sale, you are welcome to complete a new application.
Artists and makers from Colorado representing a variety of fine, decorative, and functional art are eligible to apply.
To apply, there is a $35, non-refundable jury fee. Artists who are selected to participate in the Art Market will be required to pay an additional $25 participation fee upon acceptance. Limited entrance fee scholarships are available for artists who are experiencing economic hardship, for artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and for artists who identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Please email galleries@arvadacenter.org to request a scholarship.
Applications are juried by the Arvada Center Galleries staff. The staff will consider quality of work, price point, similarity to work already chosen for the sale, and the audience who attends the Annual Art Market.
