Entries are being accepted for our Juried Art Competition from artists from all over the United States!

We invite artists from all backgrounds to submit their artwork for our juried exhibition entitled Desert Breeze”.  The exhibition is an incredible opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity and talent to a broader audience. "Desert Breeze" is a celebration of the beauty and mystique of the desert landscape. The exhibition will showcase a diverse collection of artworks that capture the essence of the desert's vastness, tranquility, and ever-changing colors. Each piece should tell a unique story and invite you to explore the captivating allure of the desert. 

Art Mozaik Gallery especially values the contributions of New Mexico’s diversified and flourishing arts community. We hope that by putting out this call for art in New Mexico, we may help to draw attention to the abundance of creative ability in the area and give local artists a chance to be seen.

Reception Date for accepted artists: July 12, 2024 from 5-8pm

Unsold works pickup/returned: July 30 - August 3, 2024  (11am-2pm)

Application Requirements

• Applications accepted from living artists over the age of 18.
• All works must be original.
• All works must be for sale.
• All artwork must be no larger than 16”x20” preferably with no frame.
• No copies, diptychs or computer-generated work.
• Entries must not be copies or derivatives based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic work. Any infraction of this rule will result in disqualification.
• Entries must not have been produced as part of a class instruction.
• All accepted artworks must be ready to hang/display with the proper hardware (i.e., paintings with wire).
• Media accepted: paintings in any medium, drawing, printmaking, photography.
