Day of the Dead is the traditional Mexican celebration that takes place November 1-2 These two days are believed to be when a passageway between the real world and the spirit world opens so our deceased loved ones can come back and visit us. It is a colorful, noisy, and fun-filled celebration. For this exhibition, we are looking for artists who focus on art and subjects or work that reflects the Day of the Dead in painting, sculpture, photography, installations, traditional carvings, etc.
All art will be shown indoors. We can accommodate large works and some installations, but these pieces must be discussed with the curate to make sure we have room and the ability to display appropriately.
Artists are responsible for the cost of shipping both ways.
