Exhibizone delightfully presents MAGIX 2024; the 3rd annual exhibition and promotion to delve into the realm of Dreams, Fantasy, Illusions, Imagination, and Magic.

Inspired by Gustave Flaubert's famous quote, for MAGIX 2024, we encourage artists to tell their visual story of dreamy landscapes, fantasy characters, illusive creatures, futuristic images, sci-fi societies, horror imaginations, magical worlds, optical illusions, the abstract play of colors and lines, and everything in between. 

Break free from the constraints of the ordinary and venture into the realm of the extraordinary. Reveal the underlying truth of the illusive world beyond reality and share ethereal visions and subconscious desires that shape our innermost thoughts. Unveil the mystical forces that enchant and inspire us to walk into the mythical universe of fantasies, where illusions and imaginations defy logic and challenge our perceptions. 

We are looking for artworks that extend our surreal possibilities, challenge our beliefs and senses in what's real and give birth to a fantasy world risen from artists' dreams, magical thoughts and illusive imaginations, including not limited to: 

Dreams: Dreams have a constant place in artistic expression. Inspired by symbolism, and nightmares, dreams have been a gateway to our innermost subconscious and conscious thoughts, emotions, aspirations, desires, and visions. They were also known as a rehearsal to face upcoming challenges and a way to consolidate and analyze our memories. 

Fantasy: Representations of imaginary creatures (dragons, monsters, fairies, centaurs, phoenixes, etc.), legendary knights, magical landscapes, enchanted forests, powerful sorcerers, modern superheroes, otherworldly encounters, and fantastical scenarios of battles and combats, mythological tales of love and loss. 

Illusion: From optical illusions and trompe-l' Illusions to visual tricks and mind-bending perspectives, artistic illusions deceive the eye and challenge our perception of reality.

Imagination: Imagination can manifest itself in various forms, such as surrealism, fantasy, abstraction, dreamscapes, futuristic visions, or even whimsical interpretations of reality.

Magic: Magic encompasses a broad spectrum of artistic expressions that evoke wonder, mystery, and the supernatural. Capture thought-provoking concepts, conjuring tricks, mystical symbols and rituals depicted in a contemporary art context to transform the mundane into the extraordinary.

Both representational and abstract art in any 2D and 3D medium is welcome. 

Submission is free of charge, and a small fixed fee applies to selected artists only.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an international online group exhibition.

All selected artworks will be exhibited online for two months from November 02, 2024, to January 02, 2025.

■ Artsy Shop

Your selected artwork will be exhibited and promoted on ARTSY, the largest global community of art collectors, enhancing your exposure and potential sales.

■ Artwork Sales

Selected artworks will be promoted to sell via an online exhibition link.

Not for Sales and sold artworks are accepted.

■ Exhibition Catalogue

All selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue available online. Artists can order for the print catalogue via print-on-demand service from a partner platform.

The catalogue will be promoted and circulated internationally, becoming available to thousands of viewers including art experts, galleries, curators, businesses and enthusiasts, via popular publication gateways.

■ Exhibition Poster

A link to the digital version of the exhibition poster will be sent to each artist via email.

■ Promotional Badges

A link to the digital promotional badge for each artwork will be sent to each artist to share in the social media.

■ Artwork Reviews

Visitors' comments give a valuable insight about their feelings and understandings about the artworks. All Exhibizone exhibitions encourages visitors' online engagement.  

Exhibition visitors can submit their comments and ratings of the exhibition and each artwork online. 

Artists will be notified about received confirmed comments by email.

■ Exhibition Promotion

A promotion program will be executed to boost the selected artists' exposure and increase the artwork sales during the exhibition period.

The program includes exhibition press release sent-out, catalogue circulation, and social media presentation.

■ Reports, Analytics and Insights

An insightful report containing the number of visits, comments, artworks popularity, and engagement rate of the exhibition viewers, along with the sales statistics will be sent to each artist regularly during the exhibition.

■ Magazines Publication

Some of the selected artworks might be published in various magazines and books in Biafarin publication network.

■ Artist Profile Page

Each artist receives a free online profile page in Biafarin platform.

■ Certificate

A digital certificate will be issued and sent to all selected artists.

The delivery of all awards and prizes of this artist call is guaranteed by Biafarin.

FEES

Submission is FREE.

If selected, there is a small fixed fee of USD 35.

All payments are non-refundable.

Up to 5 artworks can be submitted.

Maximum 2 artworks will be selected.

Jury Process

We use two phases for jurying. The first phase of jurying is the Yes/No selection, and the 2nd part is the scoring model. For scoring, each jury member scores artworks from 1 to 5. Artworks with the highest scores in the "Yes" group will be selected.

Why Selection Fee?

Submission to this art opportunity is free of charge, and we only ask the selected artists to pay a small fixed fee to proceed. 

This decision was made in good faith because we wanted artists to only pay when selected. We have a thorough jury process as our art opportunities are popular and have a low acceptance rate.

Style
All styles are accepted.

Any abstract or representational interpretations of the subject are welcome.

Size
There is no size limit for submitted artworks.

Duration
There is no limit for artwork creation year.
Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred.

Originality and Rights
Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant, executed without the supervision of an instructor.

Entries must not be copies or derivatives based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic work. Any infraction of this rule will result in serious consequences.
Artist should have all the rights for presenting and publishing the artworks internationally.

Artwork Photo

Only the artwork should show in the photo (no frames or extraneous backgrounds).

Invited artists might be asked for high resolution artwork photos, if needed.

Availability

Artists can submit artworks that are not for sales.

Number of Artworks

Artists can submit up to 5 pieces of original artworks in relation to the subject.

The artworks are subject to selection and maximum 2 artworks might be selected from the chosen artists.

Other

Artworks that, in reasonable view of the organizer, include porn, violence, and/or racial, and religious hatred, inappropriate and/or offensive content, are not admissible.
